Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) seeks an experienced analytics professional to identify and deliver innovative solutions for the last mile network. You will lead data mining, modeling and execution of transportation initiatives to boost efficiency and capacity.

The role requires strong SQL/Excel skills, data-driven insights and the ability to drive cross-functional projects from concept to implementation, with a focus on dashboards and metrics for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience with Excel and SQL.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of solution artifacts focused on driving efficiency via analysis, metrics and dashboards.
• Partner with operations/business teams to implement KPIs, automated reporting and process improvements.
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling actionable formats.
• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocks.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated systems and reports to support business needs.
