Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's global Last Mile delivery network. AMZL Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the US FP&A team, focusing on IPAT—Insights, Planning, Analytics, and Technology.

You will own financial reporting, modeling, controllership, and cost-reduction initiatives to scale the network and improve decisions. You will partner with business and finance leaders to deliver timely analyses and actionable insights, balancing structured processes with ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

• Controllership & Risk Management: identify control risks, evaluate impact and implement improvements.
• Financial Close & Reporting: manage weekly/monthly close activities, build plans/budgets/consolidations.
• Data Integrity: work with diverse data sources, identify data quality gaps and resolve issues.
• AI & Automation: leverage AI tools to enhance analysis and automate tasks.
• Communication: clearly articulate finance topics to varied audiences.
• Process Improvement: streamline finance processes and explore AI-driven solutions.
