Job summary

Amazon Inc. in the Seattle area seeks a Senior Data Scientist for Last Mile Science and Analytics to own data-driven improvements to the delivery network. You will tackle complex logistics challenges with advanced modeling and scalable processes.

Qualifications

5+ years in data science or similar role with data extraction, analysis, and communication experience.
5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting (e.g. Python) or statistical software (e.g. R/SAS/Matlab).
Master's degree in a quantitative field or Bachelor's with 8+ years of experience.
Experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression.

Responsibilities

Own business-critical data science challenges and drive data-driven decisions in delivery operations.
Develop scalable data processes and solutions for the logistics network.
Communicate insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational excellence.
