Job summary

FTTDC - Ohio Logistics in Bowling Green, OH, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to coordinate shipments, schedule pickups, and manage order and inventory data in WMS and customer systems.   • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate shipments, pickups, deliveries, and carrier appointments.
  • Enter and maintain accurate order and inventory information in WMS and customer systems.
  • Communicate shipment status, scheduling updates, and issue resolution with customers.
  • Create customer orders and support warehouse fulfillment activities.
  • Prepare Bills of Lading and assist with Advance Shipping Notifications (ASN).
  • Utilize customer portals to manage shipping and operational information.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, inventory depletion processes, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams, customers, and transportation providers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Customer Service Representative supports daily logistics operations by coordinating shipments, scheduling pickups and deliveries, conducting inventory inquiries, entering orders, and ensuring customer requirements are met. This role works closely with customers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to support efficient shipping and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies and boxes up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional climbing, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels and proximity to heavy machinery.
  • Must be able to work indoors and in close proximity to others.
