Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at our Pittsburgh, PA location. This entry-level role offers a 12-week paid training program and an opportunity to learn the full range of PITT OHIO's service offerings.

You will provide quotes, schedule pickups, track shipments, and assist customers and sales reps while delivering friendly, professional service in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English with internal and external customers.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in general math.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Previous experience in telephone customer service helpful.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email).

Responsibilities

• Provide general LTL and volume quoting.
• Coordinate and quote Fast Track / Time Definite shipments.
• Schedule pick-ups.
• Trace shipments and provide freight charges.
• Process re-billings from sales reps, 3rd parties and customers.
• Process fax and Internet requests.
• Handle Managed Accounts and special requests from customers and sales reps.
• Resolve customer issues and respond to questions regarding shipments; maintain positive relationships.
• Meet monthly department telephone and email goals.
• Receive and direct incoming calls for PITT OHIO and associated companies.
• Represent the brand in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Greet clients and visitors and notify staff of arrival.
• Provide information and assistance to clients and customers.
• Maintain a welcoming environment.
• Adapt to changes in technology and duties.
