Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Customer Service Operations professional in Indianapolis to support order processing, problem resolution and pharmaceutical logistics. The role involves coordinating shipping, DOT paperwork, and interfacing with couriers and Isotrac systems.

Responsibilities include handling DOT shipping, labeling for hazardous materials, and assisting pharmacy operations. Flexible to varying shifts with potential overtime and a focus on team-based problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to obtain DOT and IATA certification within one year of hiring.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of Nuclear and pharmacy operations preferred.
• Past customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible to weekends/holidays; possible overtime with short notice.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic material handling/packing/warehouse equipment skills.
• Experience shipping cold-chain and hazardous/dangerous goods.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Expedites orders by liaising in problem solving and dispute resolution.
• Works with spreadsheets to track order information.
• Processes customer orders through Isotrac.
• Determines flights and transportation methods for delivery; tracks packages with couriers.
• Prints and organizes DOT paperwork.
• Generates shipping labels including hazardous materials.
• Maintains and enhances customer business through orders and resolution.
• Notifies manager when follow-up actions are needed.
• Assist in pharmacy with packaging, shipping, labeling, and delivering as needed.
• Works on moderate scope projects and other duties as assigned.
• Cross-trains in multiple pharmacy areas; handles packaging, shipping docs, TI surveys if needed.
