Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound materials to support production and customer delivery requirements. The role serves as a link between production, customer service, warehouses, carriers, and customers to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of logistics, transportation, shipping, customer service, or supply chain operations experience preferred.
• SAP or ERP system experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Review orders, production schedules, and inventory to coordinate outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, customer service, production, and shipping to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipment status and communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and carrier paperwork.
• Maintain transportation records and ensure documentation compliance.
• Assist with freight quoting and cost tracking as needed.
• Support warehouse activities and inventory readiness.
• Resolve order discrepancies and delivery issues with internal teams.
• Analyze shipping trends to improve delivery performance and efficiency.
• Provide administrative support to plant leadership as needed.
