Job summary

Koch Fertilizer in Wever, Iowa is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product through our storage and loading operations. You will serve as a key link between drivers, logistics systems, and site operations, ensuring shipping activities run smoothly while upholding safety and compliance.

The role involves a rotating 12-hour day shift, occasional coverage for leave, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

Experience performing administrative support activities such as data entry, recordkeeping, document management, and report preparation.
Ability to meet physical requirements: work outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, wear PPE as required.
Willing to work a rotating 12-hour shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Support shipping and loading operations with administrative and operational tasks.
Serve as a primary contact for drivers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Assist the Shipping Supervisor with projects to improve operations.
Maintain filing systems, records, and shipping documentation.
Monitor terminal activities and process operational data in systems.
Identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements.
