Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to carry out customer service activities in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. A major responsibility is timely and accurate handling of customer orders in compliance with all DSV Work Instructions and customer requirements.

The S/R is responsible for input of information concerning orders, shipments, receipts, inventories, ensuring documents are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders timely and accurately.
• Generate paperwork and information required for orders and shipping.
• Coordinate last-minute shipping with operations and expediting as needed.
• Prioritize orders by pickup time or pier cutoff.
• Maintain shipping and tracking information.
• Maintain orderly files and accurate documentation.
