Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA Northlake location is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to manage customer orders, paperwork, and data entry with accuracy and courtesy. The role requires inputting orders, maintaining records, and coordinating with operations to meet pickup and delivery deadlines.

You will handle shipping documents, tracking information, and inventory counts, while complying with DSV Work Instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate paperwork and necessary information for orders; check for special requests.
• Coordinate last-minute shipping with operations and expedite as needed.
• Prioritize orders by pickup time or pier cutoff.
• Furnish shipping and tracking information as required.
• Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain files.
• Enter and verify data for orders, shipments, and receipts.
• Ensure accuracy of receiving and shipping documents.
• Gather and maintain data/records for shipping activities.
• Comply with all DSV Work Instructions.
• Perform other duties and overtime as required.
