Job summary
Mill Rock Packaging is seeking a Logistics Clerk in Saint Paul, MN to coordinate outbound shipments and work with carriers, customers, and internal teams. You will ensure on-time delivery, accurate shipping docs, and compliance with customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
The role demands strong computer skills, experience in shipping/logistics, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of shipping/logistics or related experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and across departments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate outbound shipments and schedule transportation with approved carriers.
- Communicate with trucking companies, freight brokers, and customers on shipment status.
- Prepare shipping documentation and bills of lading.
- Monitor daily shipping schedules and prioritize shipments.
- Enter and maintain shipping information in ERP and transportation systems.
- Assist with inventory and shipping audits.
- Track shipments and report carrier performance.
