Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of direct experience, or 2 years of relevant experience in shipping or logistics.
• Knowledge in transportation and import/export preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, shipping software, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Route orders and schedule freight pickups with carriers via portals, including international shipments.
• Obtain, evaluate, and maintain carrier quotes for specialized shipments.
• Prepare, print, and maintain shipping paperwork and export documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and carrier communications.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues (overages, damages, shortages, back-orders).
• Serve as internal contact for shipment inquiries with other departments.
• Handle damage claims and coordinate with carriers.
