• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory control.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and logistics documentation, including bills of lading, customs documentation, and freight invoices.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, delivery delays, and transportation-related issues.
• Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and reduce transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Process and audit freight invoices for accuracy and cost control.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and customer service teams to support business objectives.
• Assist in developing and implementing logistics procedures and process improvements.
• Prepare reports related to transportation costs, inventory levels, delivery performance, and key logistics metrics.
• Support inventory counts, audits, and warehouse optimization initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers and logistics partners.
