Amcor LLC in Wisconsin seeks a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to support the plant's warehouse and logistics operation, reviewing releases from Customer Service and routing to carriers for delivery. Ensure cost-effective handling of shipments and optimize truckload vs LTL decisions.

You will collaborate with Customer Service and Logistics Supervisors, use the Mercury Gate System, and assist with bid processes and carrier communications.

Competenze

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience, preferred 2–5 years of experience in logistics/freight in a manufacturing environment.

Mansioni

• Review and route all releases from Customer Service.
• Determine if shipment is truckload or LTL.
• Analyze releases to determine if LTL can be combined into truckload shipments.
• Route by carrier through Mercury Gate System.
• Send information to carrier to be picked up.
• Develop and send LTL routing sheets to LTL carriers daily.
• Communicate with Customer Service and Logistics Supervisors daily.
• Bids out all truckloads to Corporate truckload carriers and brokers.
• Award bids based on pricing and service to the winning carrier/broker.
• Sets delivery appointments with customers for truckload shipments.
• Communicate with customer service on transit issues or delays on shipments.
• Backs up inventory control for shipment entries into customer portals.
• Communicates with customers brokers on shipments when issues arise.
