Job summary

Caterpillar in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II to support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes in a CNC machining facility. You will record inventory adjustments and ensure a safe work environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include operating PIT equipment, performing PLEX transactions, and ensuring material flow meets quality standards. Strong teamwork and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 months' experience in warehouse/logistics or industry certification.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Intermediate experience with computers and with inventory management software.
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, pick, tag, move, and remove materials accurately.
• Operate PIT equipment (forklifts, tuggers, pack mules) to move materials within the facility.
• Perform PLEX transactions and utilize PLEX knowledge for daily tasks.
• Assist with inventory management and accuracy.
• Load and off-load materials on trailers.
• Ensure received and delivered materials meet quality standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions.
• Train and assist new team members as needed.
• Handle shipping, receiving, and invoice verification for inventory accuracy.
• Report to Section Managers and support departments to meet customer and company demands.
