Job summary

LINK Staffing seeks a Logistics Coordinator for a temporary 3–4 month assignment in Houston. The role is primarily remote with on-site support in Memorial about one day per week.

Qualifications

Logistics Coordinator – Temporary Contractor

Location: Houston, TX – Remote with 1 day/week onsite in Memorial

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Logistics Coordinator to support domestic transportation operations for a Houston-based logistics company. This is a temporary 3–4 month assignment covering an employee leave. The position will primarily work remotely; however, candidates must be local to the Houston area and available to meet onsite in the Memorial area approximately once per week for training and operational support. The ideal candidate has experience coordinating domestic trucking and freight, tracking shipments, obtaining freight rates, preparing bills of lading, and working within 3PL or transportation platforms. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, responsive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Additional Requirements

• Must have reliable high-speed home internet; mobile hotspots are not acceptable
• Must be local to Houston and able to report to the Memorial area approximately once per week
• Candidates selected for the position will be required to complete a background check and drug screening.
