Amcor LLC is seeking a logistics professional to support and assist the Department Manager in coordinating plant warehouse and logistics operations. You will review releases, determine shipment type, and route orders to carriers to ensure cost-effective delivery to customers.

The role requires 2-5 years in logistics, strong Excel and Mercury Gate skills, and a keen eye for process improvement. This position is based in Oshkosh, WI and entails a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess an associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in logistics/freight in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and route all releases from Customer Service.
• Determine if shipment is truckload or LTL and optimize routing.
• Coordinate with carriers using Mercury Gate System and send pickup details.
• Bid out truckloads to corporate carriers and brokers; select best value.
• Set delivery appointments and communicate transit issues to Customer Service.
