Job summary

Associated Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support customer service, warehousing and sales at our Santa Fe Springs branch.

You will coordinate inbound PO receiving, put-away, outbound paperwork and carrier pickups, working closely with warehouse and freight teams. Key responsibilities include cycle counts, safety coordination and audits, coordinating third-party warehousing, and processing branch invoices and customer billings.

Qualifications

Forklift certification required.
OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with logistics, freight carriers, or warehouse.
Knowledge of LTL, TL, and small parcel operations.
Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent) problem solving experience preferred.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as ERP and Transportation Management systems.
Experience with NetSuite and/or FreightPop preferred.

Responsibilities

Set delivery appointments for inbound POs and update calendar; verify/enter inbound POs.
Verify lot/serial numbers and enter put-away locations.
Process outbound paperwork and verify outbound shipments.
Perform cycle count verification and investigate discrepancies.
Support branch invoicing and customer billings; back-up for warehouse staff.
