Siemens Mobility in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Driver to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory for the Logistics Area, with occasional travel to Albany. You will partner with area operations to ensure on-time deliveries and maintain safety and accuracy in the warehouse.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, SAP WM/IM experience, and a valid driver's license. A High School diploma is required, with Associate's degree preferred.

The LogisticsCoordinator isresponsible forall shipping and receiving activities for the Logistics Area as well as the management and upkeep of the logistics environment. The Logistics Coordinator reportsto the Logistics Supervisor.You will serve as a primary liaison with area personnel, assuming the role of service provider for area operations. In thiscapacity, you will receive guidance from local operations and area management to ensure thetimelydelivery of our products to job sites.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will:

• Receive inbound deliveries, moveparts and materials into inventory and/or job stock, pickparts and materials for outbound deliveries.
• Process all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure, createshipping papers using the preferred carriers’ software application.
• Support the service van parts replenishment process, keepaccurateinventorylevelsandparticipatein the inventory count process as dictated by policy/procedure, executethe goods return procedure for the branch.
• Communicatewith internal parties to coordinate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand,retaindocumentation necessary for follow-up and proof of delivery and inventory.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse, enforceandmaintainsafety in the warehouse, adhereto standard warehouseguidelinesand follow Siemens' policies.
• Assist internal and external customers visiting the warehouse, providing support, guidance, and professional customer experience.
• Provideaccuracy and organization in all work.
• Safety first attitude.
• This location will also provide support to the Albany warehouse. Travel to Albany is expected approximately once per week based on Business needs. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
• Able to carry and lift 50 pounds throughout the shift
• ExperiencewithMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• On-the-jobexperiencewith:
• SAP-IM(Inventory Management)and WM(Warehouse Management)modules
• Material handling – movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using theappropriate handlingequipment
• Working with cross-functions (e.g., project managers, service technicians)
• Must be able todemonstrateresponsivenessand thorough customer serviceapproachand the ability to work independently (supervised remotely)
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Must be 21 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements toparticipatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year + experienceworking in material handling andlogisticsfunction
• Associate’s degree in related technical field preferred but not required.
• One year + experience with industrial truck or forklift.
• SAP experience – other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.)

The pay range for this position is $40,555 - $69,523 annually with a target incentive of10%of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
