Rytec Corporation, a Nucor company, seeks a Logistics Coordinator at its Hartford facility to manage inbound/outbound shipments, coordinate carriers, and provide order status updates. The role requires SAP/TMS experience, ERP familiarity, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time, cost-effective delivery while supporting continuous logistics improvements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with ERP and Transportation management systems (SAP, TMS, Salesforce).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office tools; capable of learning in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound freight shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain carrier networks and support cost/service improvements.
• Communicate shipment status and tracking information to customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Quote freight costs and arrange transportation for door, parts, and return shipments.
• Process shipping transactions in SAP and TMS, including order completion and freight documentation.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents (BOLs, export paperwork, shipment records).
• Track, trace, and resolve shipment issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Verify order accuracy and shipment readiness prior to dispatch.
• Provide responsive customer service and support logistics inquiries.
