Job summary

Arkema Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound shipments, coordinate materials flow, and ensure production runs smoothly.

You will partner with production, customer service, planning, and carriers, using SAP to track inventory and shipments, and maintain loading schedules while driving continuous improvement. This hands-on role offers visibility to plant leadership and opportunities to impact customer service, inventory accuracy, and overall supply

Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of truck and rail logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and determine schedules.
• Manage finished goods logistics to meet deliveries.
• Collaborate with production, planning, purchasing, and carriers to optimize performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and address supply chain challenges.
• Produce shipping documents and loading plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Provide backup support to Production Planning and plant leadership.
