Job summary

Cryoport Systems, LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Contingent) to join the Logistics Management team within Customer Service. The role supports shipment monitoring, exception handling, onboarding, and client communications from a remote location in the United States.

Responsibilities include monitoring live shipments, routing carrier/client communications, data entry, and coordinating with internal departments. Weekend shifts and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
• 2+ years of logistics management and customer service experience preferred.

• Escalate exceptions internally to Logistics Managers.
• Answer and route client and carrier communications internally.
• Communicate with carriers and clients during shipment via written and verbal methods.
• Manage inbound calls and redirect to appropriate parties.
• Onboard new clients, perform order entry and order approvals.
• Interact with Operations, Accounting, Management, and Sales.
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
• Willingness to work after hours and/or weekends as needed.

Logistics Coordinator (Contingent)

Location: Remote from anywhere within the U.S.

Hours: Shift Work, 8AM – 5PM PST (including weekends and public holidays).

Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is part of the Logistics Management team within Cryoport’s Customer Service department. The role reports to one or more Logistics Managers and is responsible for alerting the team about shipment delays or other exceptions, assisting with special projects, handling miscellaneous tasks as needed, and answering the logistics helpline to address or redirect calls.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitoring exceptions of live shipments through Cryoport’s web portal and email notifications.
• Escalating exceptions internally to Logistics Managers.
• Answering and routing client and carrier communications internally.
• Communicating with carriers and clients throughout shipment via written and verbal methods.
• Managing inbound calls and redirecting to appropriate parties.
• Onboarding new clients, order entry and order approvals.
• Regular interaction with internal departments such as Operations, Accounting, Management, and Sales.
• Performing administrative tasks such as data entry.
• Assuming other duties as assigned.
• Willingness to work after hours and/or weekend shifts as needed.
