Job summary

Container Centralen, Inc. seeks a Logistics Coordinator to facilitate transportation of assets and equipment across warehouses, stores, growers, and customers in the United States and Canada. You will coordinate carriers, rates, and real-time ETAs, while generating customer reports and supporting recovery operations.

The role requires strong data skills, TMS familiarity, Excel proficiency, and effective communication with customers and vendors. Some travel (<5%) is expected in a dynamic, small-team setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or advanced degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced customer-facing role (logistics/supply chain/equipment handling preferred).
• Ability to manage detailed data and information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer.
• Experience with carrier management and rate negotiations for multi-mode transportation.
• Familiarity with TMS software.
• Strong communication skills for phone interactions with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multitask and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel (<5%).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation of CC assets and equipment from warehouses, stores, and growers to customers in the US and Canada.
• Coordinate carrier information for different transportation modes.
• Manage carrier rates and maintain related databases.
• Provide real-time ETA information and customer reporting.
• Assist in recovering CC products from remote markets.
• Support Recovery Manager and other Logistics Coordinators as needed.
• Coordinate with other functional groups and negotiate carrier rates.
