Mengi Inc is seeking a US-based Logistics Coordinator to oversee the shipping pipeline of heavy machinery from US facilities to global clients. You will manage end-to-end export shipments, coordinate with rigging teams, trucking lines, freight forwarders, and US ports to ensure on-time delivery and compliant clearance.

Ideal candidates have heavy cargo experience, export compliance fluency, and a meticulous, independent work style suitable for fast-paced operations and port environments.

• Draft, review, and finalize Bills of Lading with buyers and freight forwarders.
• Arrange comprehensive marine cargo insurance for all global machinery shipments.

Mengi Inc is a global trader of brand-new and used industrial printing, packaging, and bookbinding machinery. We represent leading manufacturers and distribution partnerships - and we need a Logistics Coordinator based in the US to oversee and manage the shipping pipeline of our equipment from US facilities to global clients. As our US Logistics Coordinator, you will manage heavy industrial export shipments. You will coordinate with local rigging companies, heavy trucking lines, international freight forwarders, and US ports. You are the operational gear that ensures multi-ton machines are safely dismantled, properly loaded, cleared through US customs, and securely loaded onto ocean vessels.

What You'll Do

Outbound Logistics Sourcing: Query and evaluate competitive trucking, rigging, and ocean freight quotes for heavy cargo shipments.

Rigging & Transport Coordination: Partner with professional industrial riggers to dismantle machinery, secure it in containers/flat-racks, and arrange port transport.

Customs & Export Clearance: File Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the Automated Export System (AES) and resolve customs queries.

Bill of Lading & Documentation: Draft, review, and finalize Bills of Lading (BL) with buyers and freight forwarders.

Cargo Insurance: Arrange comprehensive marine cargo insurance for all global machinery shipments.

What We're Looking For

US-based, US national: Local presence and US person status are required as you will handle US customs and port facilities.

Heavy cargo experience: Direct experience moving heavy machinery, industrial presses, or bookbinding equipment.

Export compliance fluency: Complete familiarity with commercial invoices, AES filing, CBP regulations, and EEI.

Detail-oriented under pressure: Zero tolerance for documentation mistakes; you catch errors before they lead to port delays.

Independent operator: Task-driven, self-motivated, and capable of driving end-to-end logistics with minimal back-and-forth.
