Role Description

The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role located in Newark, NJ, responsible for planning and overseeing daily container movements and freight operations. This position coordinates shipments, monitors delivery schedules, and works closely with carriers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure on-time performance and accurate documentation. The role includes managing inventory status related to container flows, updating internal systems, and resolving exceptions or delays in transit. The Logistics Coordinator responds to customer inquiries, provides shipment updates, and supports issue resolution to maintain a high level of service. The role also involves generating reports, analyzing logistical data, and collaborating with supervisors to improve processes and efficiency.
