LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
  • Minimum six (6) years full-time paid professional experience in move and relocation management, project management coordination, or furniture and equipment (F&E) coordination.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in facility project management or project coordination is preferred.
  • Experience with project analysis, project management, and reporting is required.
  • Experience working in a public agency or school construction or modernization is preferred.
Education:
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree preferably in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related fields, OR
  • Candidates without the required degree must have an additional 2 years' experience to compensate for the education requirements.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Proficiency in budget and cost management.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • Basic knowledge reading architectural and furniture layout drawings.
  • Basic AutoCAD skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organization skills.
Duties:
  • Responsible for strategic oversight, coordination, scheduling, and management of F&E deliveries, installation, and close-out for multi-phase projects in K-12 schools and academic facilities.
  • Coordinates with manufacturers/vendors, clients, construction teams, stakeholders, procurement, and the F+IG Planning Lead to ensure successful F&E delivery and installation for client occupancy.
  • Works with Planning Lead to develop project logistics scope, budget estimates, schedules, and delivery/installation requirements.
  • Manages logistics scope across all project phases, collaborating closely with project teams and vendors.
  • Tracks and monitors project labor budgets and schedules, making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintains and archives all documentation related to delivery and installation.
  • Coordinates punch-list execution and site-readiness assessments with principals and project managers.
  • Schedules deliveries, conducts site walks, and oversees scope completion and operational readiness.
  • Requests quotes, manages vendor relationships, and ensures close-out and payments.
  • Provides project updates to stakeholders and collaborates with various district offices and external vendors.
  • Manages purchase orders and updates project databases and files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
