Location & Hours:

This is an hourly, full-time, temporary position which will last for a minimum of 4 months with a potential for extension based on business needs. This remote role is based in the EST zone with designated office hours for maximum team efficiency. Daily office hours are Monday through Friday with a designated start time of 6:00 am or 7:00 am EST. Shifts last 6-8 hours long plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator assists the team to ensure that shipments are processed accurately and in compliance with internal requirements. This position is responsible for systematically reviewing a high volume of invoices for accuracy, comparing them to data available in various systems and ensuring all required documentation is aligned. To find success in this position, you should be very comfortable with juggling large sets of data and utilizing pre-built excel templates and queries to visually verify data accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Review various reports and documents for accuracy
• Track delivery status and update excel documentation
• Navigate the POD (Point of Deliver) upload web portal to ensure carriers are submitting accurate data within a timely manner
• Confirm validity of PODs regarding date, signature, quantity, etc.
• Audit POD against internal records (tracking logs)
• Submit freight quotes and log results in tracking report
• Assist with freight invoice auditing

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years experience analyzing and organizing large data sets
• Intermediate Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, VLookup, basic formulas)
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle of M365 Dynamics
• Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and independent
• Comfortable with highly repetitive data entry tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
• Familiarity with conventional logistics contracts and pricing, notably warehousing, ocean, FTL/LTL

The pay range for this full time position is $27 – $35 USD per hour. This is an hourly, full-time, temporary position. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
