Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and any ERP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
• Track and monitor freight status, ensuring smooth flow and resolving any transportation issues.
• Communicate with carriers, freight brokers, and drivers to schedule and dispatch shipments.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide status updates and shipment details to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and other service providers to achieve cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise, such as delays, damage, or lost shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies

Position Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and any ERP software preferred.
• Ability to quickly resolve logistical challenges and maintain service standards.
• Familiarity with customs brokerage, import/export regulations, and shipping documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
• Other Requirements: Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
