Bettaway Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to coordinate and dispatch carriers on managed transportation accounts. You will develop relationships with contracted carriers, monitor tender acceptance and service, and manage daily orders and shipper schedules.

In this role you will communicate issues promptly to stakeholders and work with Traffic leadership to source new carrier partners, while handling tracking updates and other operational tasks as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of transportation experience, ideally in a reputable 3PL or brokerage
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve and elevate issues in a timely manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, likeable and team player
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite and LTL booking platforms; TMS a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch carriers on all managed transportation accounts
• Develop relationships with dedicated (contracted) carriers, monitor tender acceptance, service and volume.
• Perform daily operational tasks such as creating orders, allocating product, and managing shipper’s schedules
• Proactively communicate issues to internal and external stakeholders and provide real time solutions as needed
• Collaborate with Traffic leadership to source new carrier partners into the network
• Assist with status and tracking updates as requested
• Perform other assigned operational tasks as assigned by Traffic leadership
