GW Murphy Inc in Crown Point, IN is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth supply chain operations across our carrier network and internal teams. You will coordinate logistics, manage vendor relationships, and oversee rate updates for US and Canada markets.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics systems, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
• Post available lanes to our network of Carriers (3PL/Carriers).
• Provide carriers with accurate, detailed information including any required shipping documents, pickup numbers, special details, etc.
• Updating Weekly rates to major cities across the US and Canada.
• Update orders through the order fulfillment process.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within logistics operations to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics data effectively.
• Collaborate with supply chain management and Wholesale teams to ensure alignment across all functions.
• Maintain a respectful, courteous, and professional relationship with peers, drivers, customers, vendors, and carriers.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics and present findings to management.
• Handle discrepancies for purchase orders, freight bills, sales orders, and invoices.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain.
