Job summary

Weaver Popcorn in Carmel, IN is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support domestic freight, order management, and inside sales for the domestic sales team. You will coordinate shipments, track freight, and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring timely, accurate delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in logistics coordination, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with CRM/ERP systems. This role splits time between Weaver Popcorn and Weaver Fundraising headquarters in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years in logistics coordination, domestic freight, inside sales support, customer service, or order management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail in data entry, freight docs, shipment tracking, and orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM/ERP or similar logistics software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight activity including scheduling, tracking, and status updates to customers and carriers.
• Partner with production, warehousing, shipping, and sales to schedule deliveries and manage freight.
• Execute domestic and international deliveries and documentation, including vendor relations.
• Identify service issues and resolve freight concerns to maximize OTIF.
• Serve as primary contact for customer orders, updates, and delivery expectations.
• Investigate inquiries and discrepancies while coordinating with internal teams.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support domestic freight, logistics coordination, customer order management, and inside sales activities for the domestic sales team. This dual logistics and inside sales role is responsible for coordinating shipments, supporting order flow, tracking freight activity, communicating with customers and internal teams, and helping ensure timely, accurate delivery of product. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving operational issues, and is highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Location:Carmel, IN (5 days In-office split time between Weaver Fundraising and Weaver Popcorn Headquarters)

How will you help us grow?

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate freight activity, including scheduling, tracking, and communicating shipment status to customers, carriers, the warehouse, and sales.
• Partner with production and warehousing teams, shipping, customer service, and sales to schedule deliveries, confirm inventory availability, and manage freight.
• Execute domestic and international deliveries up to and including international documentation, compliance, and vendor relationships.
• Identify service issues and proactively escrow and resolve freight concerns to maximize OTIF (On-Time In-Full) service.

External & Internal Customer Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer orders, providing updates on order status, product availability, and delivery expectations.
• Process and manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries, order discrepancies, and service concerns while coordinating with internal teams as needed.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, IT, and customer-facing teams to support customer commitments and ensure a seamless order-to-delivery experience.

What do you need to have?

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, domestic freight, inside sales support, customer service, order management, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or sales operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, freight documentation, shipment tracking, and order processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working within CRM and ERP systems or like-minded logistics software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
