Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or shipping systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, KwikTag) preferred.
• Must be able to go up and down stairs and perform standard office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely shipments across the U.S.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to manage logistics expectations.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy before release.
• Create and maintain domestic shipping docs (BOLs, packing lists, carrier labels).
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays with carriers.
• Maintain shipping schedules and report delays or cost issues to management.
• Assist with freight claims and coordinate resolution with carriers.
• Support logistics team in managing freight spend and budget alignment.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate outbound/inbound shipments with purchasing and warehouse teams.
• Apply knowledge of domestic shipping regulations and carrier requirements.

• Coordinate with transportation providers (LTL, FTL, courier, etc.) to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments across the U.S.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to manage logistics expectations and resolve delivery issues.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy and completeness prior to release.
• Create and maintain accurate domestic shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and carrier labels.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify delays or discrepancies, and work with carriers to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain shipping schedules, track deliveries, and report delays or cost issues to management.
• Assist with freight claims and coordinate resolution with carriers when shipments are damaged or lost.
• Support the logistics team in managing freight spend and ensuring budget alignment.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
• Work with purchasing and warehouse teams to coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Apply working knowledge of domestic shipping regulations and carrier requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in domestic logistics coordination or transportation planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and issue resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and carrier portals (FedEx, UPS, LTL platforms, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Incoterms 2020 as they relate to domestic transactions is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP or shipping systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics, KwikTag, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience reviewing freight rates, negotiating pricing, and selecting cost-effective routing options is a plus.
• Must be able to go up and down stairs.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Must be able to operate a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment.
• Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while performing job functions.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
