Job summary

Zing Recruiting is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing company to recruit a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for a new Upper Deerfield, NJ facility. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safe, on-time delivery.

You will work closely with customer service and warehouse teams, use SAP for invoicing and shipping paperwork, and help develop weekly shipment plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment of similar size and complexity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, customers, and transportation partners.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor customer shipments and freight activities.
• Partner with Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Schedule and manage warehouse shipments, appointments, and transportation requirements.
• Develop weekly shipment plans for warehouse operations.
• Track and record truck arrival and departure times.
• Identify and document carrier claims when necessary.
• Ensure shipping paperwork is accurately entered into SAP daily for invoicing purposes.
• Communicate shipment preparation details to warehouse personnel according to established procedures.
• Prepare and print shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), pick tickets, shipping labels, and Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
• Prioritize daily logistics activities to meet both internal business needs and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
