Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Controller I in Houston to manage logistics planning and data entry for the Technical Field Services team. You will liaise with multiple departments and stakeholders, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate documentation while maintaining safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Logistics Dispatch; Oil & Gas preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and multitasking.
• Proficient with data entry and repetitive tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch company and/or contracted drivers for loads.
• Monitor driver hours of service and route progress.
• Track loads from pickup to delivery in real time.
• Communicate with drivers, terminals, customers and carriers to resolve issues.
• Adjust dispatch plans due to delays or changes in operation.
• Verify bills of lading, delivery receipts and load documentation.
• Enter and maintain load, mileage, and delivery data in dispatch system.
