Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Houston, TX is seeking a Logistics Business Consultant I to lead regulatory compliance for transportation of LYB products. You will collaborate with Customers, LSPs, and LYB facilities to drive incident response, risk management, and continuous process improvements in a global supply chain.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to influence across senior stakeholders, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant, industry-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 10+ years with HS diploma acceptable.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation regulatory compliance programs for safe transport of LYB products.
• Serve as SME for Customers, LSP, LYB facilities on incident response and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation laws across the Americas.
• Train plant personnel on best practices in transportation and compliance.
• Develop long-range plans and KPIs in logistics compliance.
• Represent LYB on industry committees (DGAC, AAR, DOT, FMCSA, FRA).
