Job summary

LyondellBasell, a leader in the global chemical industry, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Houston to drive strategic analytics, network design, and cost management across Global Supply Chain.

You will coordinate budgeting, benchmarking, and data-driven insights; develop models and reporting to support business decisions, and influence cross-functional teams for improved visibility, efficiency, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 10 years experience acceptable with HS diploma.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, analytics, logistics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication across functions.
• Experience with Excel and BI tools such as Power BI; familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate analytical insights related to supply chain cost, service, capacity, inventory, demand, transportation, warehousing, and business performance.
• Build business cases and cost-benefit analyses; quantify savings opportunities and present recommendations to leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data analytics initiatives across global supply chain.
• Model network design, optimization, and scenario planning to evaluate trade-offs.
• Lead cross-functional process-improvement initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders.
