Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a reliable Logistics Clerk to join our warehouse team in New York. You will oversee daily inbound and outbound shipments, maintain precise inventory records, and coordinate with freight carriers to keep operations moving smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in logistics, familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl), and strong MS Excel/Outlook skills. No degree is required. This full-time on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl) and basic proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of standard logistics paperwork (BOLs, customs documentation, shipping labels).

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming freight, unload goods, and prepare outgoing shipments according to carrier specifications.
• Documentation & Data Entry: Draft and verify shipping paperwork (BOLs, packing slips, commercial invoices) and update WMS/ERP with real-time data.
• Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, track stock movements, identify discrepancies, and maintain organized storage.
• Carrier & Vendor Coordination: Schedule pickups/deliveries with couriers/3PL providers and track transit statuses.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean dock area and enforce HazMat and transport safety standards.
