Job summary

HR for Growth is seeking a Logistics Clerk to join its team in New Jersey. This role will create shipping labels, box products safely, and ensure the right items are sent to customers with accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail, excellent English communication, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, is required, along with a High School Diploma or GED.

• Must be able to work flexible shifts, days, hours, and weekends as well as work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares shipments by assembling, counting, weighing, checking against shipping orders, and reporting discrepancies.
• Ships domestic and international items by verifying identifying information and quantity and conditions of items, loading and protecting items.
• Occasionally receives items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, and forwarding documents to receiving.
• Maintains shipping materials by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed materials, placing and expediting orders for materials, verifying receipt of materials.
