Logistics Billing Specialist: Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for logistics services provided by a company. Their primary duties include verifying shipment details, preparing invoices, and resolving billing discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy and customer satisfaction. They play a crucial role in streamlining the billing process, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and optimizing the company's revenue collection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate and issue accurate invoices for logistics services rendered, ensuring all charges are correctly applied.
2. Verify shipment details, delivery confirmations, and associated costs to ensure billing accuracy.
3. Address and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with clients or internal departments promptly.
4. Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, adjustments, and communications for auditing and reference purposes.
5. Ensure all billing processes comply with company policies, contractual agreements, and relevant regulations.
6. Generate financial and operational reports related to billing activities for management review and decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a logistics or cold storage food distribution environment.
2. Proficiency in billing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and transactions.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing, along with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing processes and systems in a dynamic industry setting.
5. 6 months experience or more with TruckMate software.
6. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards related to logistics and cold storage food distribution, and ability to work collaboratively within a team to contribute to a positive work environment.
