Job summary

Teknor Apex Company is seeking a Logistics Associate for the 2nd shift (2:45 PM – 11:00 PM) at our Pawtucket, RI site. You will stage truck shipments, process returns, handle UPS orders, and load orders onto trucks while maintaining a clean, safe dock and ensuring forklift readiness.

Requirements include strong English reading and math skills, the ability to drive or learn to drive a forklift, and solid communication abilities. This is an on-site position reporting to the Logistics Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend English.
• Good math skills.
• Able to operate a forklift and to use an electric hand truck.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stage truck shipments in the Shipping Area.
• Process customer returns.
• Process UPS orders through the UPS system.
• Load Teknor Apex trucks and outside trucks for shipment; ensure stretch wrapping when needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe shipping dock; check forklift daily prior to operation.
• Experience with Teknor Apex computer systems preferred.

Job Requirements:
