Job summary

ANT Neuro in Center City, Philadelphia, is seeking a Logistics Assistant to help ensure smooth flow of goods, manage stock, and support IT-related setup. This in-person role reports to the Operations and Logistics Manager.

Job description

The Logistics Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, technical support, and information within ANT North America. Reporting directly to the Operations and Logistics Manager, the Logistics Assistant will maintain stock inventories and process incoming and outgoing shipments. This person will also install and configure software, inspect equipment for completeness and quality, following technical procedures, and accurately document findings. This is an entry-level role for someone who thrives in task-oriented environments, displays skills in organization, and possesses an aptitude for technology. The position is full-time and in-person in ANT Neuro North America's Center City office.

Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving

• Working with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate movement of domestic and international shipments
• Reviewing shipment materials before distribution to verify and document accuracy
• Preparing packing lists and other documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments

Space and Inventory Management

• Assisting the Operations & Logistics Manager in managing inventory
• Maintaining the office, including hospitality and office supplies

Technical Services

• Performing routine inspections of equipment
• Following pre-established protocols to configure software

The Logistics Assistant may also assist other staff with projects and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate's degree plus 1 to 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Dropbox, and similar programs
• Possesses technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Must display strong attention to detail and organization, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize work as needed
• Must have strong time-management skills
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate initiative
• Ability to learn new platforms with ease

Preference will be given to applicants with a background in IT or other technical support-based positions.
