Carillon Green is seeking a hands-on Logistics & Warehouse Operations Coordinator for our Tampa, FL office and warehouse. You will manage inventory data, coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, and perform warehousing tasks to keep operations smooth. This role requires physical stamina (lifting up to 70 lbs) and strong organization to work both independently and with a team. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced office and warehouse logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments and imports.

• Manage warehouse activities including labeling and packing lists alignment.

We have our administrative office in Tampa FL and 3rd party warehouses throughout the country. We strive to provide the best customer service to our stakeholders and for that we are recruiting a talented organized and hardworking individual to fill the role of warehouse and logistics coordinator at our office in Tampa FL.

Who are you?

The Logistics & Warehouse Operations Coordinator splits their time between an office environment and the warehouse. In the office, you will manage inventory data, coordinate shipments, prepare documentation and many other administrative tasks. On the warehouse floor, you will take a hands-on approach to breaking down, and re-assemble pallets, re-labeling inventory, verifying physical stock, and manipulating the physical product packaging. This also includes picking up the material and loading the vehicle with it to bring to the office location and vice versa. This is a very hands-on position that will require physical strength and physical dexterity. Overall good organizational skills will setup the employee for success in this job.

Key Responsibilities

The Job requires experience in a fast-paced office and warehouse environment, working with logistics, and a positive attitude.

• Handle all Logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments and imports (contacting logistics companies by phone, email and websites,
• Price negotiation and cost reduction: One of the jobs intrinsic duties is to manage the overall cost of logistics. This involves negotiating the lowest cost for shipment of goods, for warehousing operations (storage, In/Out cost, re-labeling etc.), and for all international shipping. This will also be one of the key indications that will be reviewed as part of ongoing job performance
• Saving, updating and managing all shipping documentation,
• Documenting all shipments with photos, tracking info, delivery, and proof of delivery, etc.
• Warehouse management (confirming shipments against packing lists, changing labels, etc.)
• Filing all claims for damaged material and orders
• Knowledge of Hazmat (certified is a plus, if not will need to get certified)
• Sending out and documenting all samples of products to current and prospective customers
• Warehouse Duties(Break down pallets, repackage and palletize goods, inspect goods for damage etc.)
• Detailed understanding of local and international (sea & air freight and courier shipping)
• General Office Duties (including scanning, emailing, faxing, cleaning, filing, etc.)
• Run other office errands as required

Skills/Competencies :

• Impeccable time management and planning skills
• Strong written / verbal communication with all stakeholders on the precise movement of the shipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, reading labels, matching batch numbers, reviewing documents for reliable correct information.
• Able to work individually as well as part of a team
• Generate accurate documents such as Product labels, shipping manifests, Bills of lading.
• Computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Acrobat
• Valid Driver's License and Transportation
• Bachelors degree
• Logistics: 2 years (Preferred)
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift 70 lbs., frequently and carrying and moving heavy objects.
