Position Overview:

The Logistics & Production Coordinator provides operational support across all areas of Michigan Humane’s logistics processes, including but not limited to internal and external courier duties, fleet maintenance, warehouse supply chain operations, and event production routines.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of event and promotional materials and goods stored within the warehouse and shelter-specific storage spaces.
  • Facilitate organization’s participation and on-site activation at select expositions, festivals, and public gatherings.
  • Provide event support including preparation and packing of materials, transport, setup, logistics during events, teardown, and return of materials.
  • Assist events team with inventory management of special projects, warehouse storage, fleet routines, and repairs.
  • Distribute interdepartmental mail and supplies efficiently through courier routines.
  • Support inventory management of uniforms and resources to ensure supply and budget adherence.
  • Support warehouse maintenance, upkeep, and safe storage of materials and equipment, including vehicles.
  • Assist in shipping, receiving, distribution, record keeping, and material handling recovery.
  • Maintain fleet records and vehicle transport for services, focusing on vehicle maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Good driving record; chauffeur endorsement a plus
  • Minimum of 6-12 months of related experience
  • Experience in a warehousing environment is a plus
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills required
