Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support supply chain and manufacturing operations in Pontiac, IL. The role focuses on monitoring production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements to ensure timely availability for operational demand.

You will collaborate with suppliers, manage schedules, and analyze data to mitigate shortages and optimize inventory. This is an onsite 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 12-month contract role supporting continuous improvement and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Monitor build schedules, MRP data, and inventory levels to determine material requirements and support production needs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to manage schedules, achieve inventory targets, and meet operational demand.
• Analyze past-due material schedules and work with suppliers to mitigate supply constraints.
• Communicate shortages, risks, and material availability issues to appropriate business partners.
• Review production schedules, work orders, inventory data, and material priorities.
• Coordinate the flow of materials from receiving through point of use.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to address critical supply issues.
• Support engineering changes and new product introduction by aligning material requirements with production needs.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and requisition materials as necessary.
• Adjust or support changes to production schedules based on material shortages or design changes.
• Analyze supply chain and manufacturing data to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with leadership and operational teams on improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and material consumption records.
