Job summary

DSV is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our USA Port Reading, NJ location. The role focuses on label control, yard coordination, and administrative support for outbound operations, with emphasis on Excel proficiency and warehouse computer literacy.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and 1–3 years’ inventory control or warehousing admin experience, and must be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years’ experience in inventory control or warehousing admin.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Label Control: Prepare, distribute, and reprint all labels for carton/pallet pickers daily; track and document labels.
• Yard Coordination: Communicate outbound pulls and plugs to yard drivers daily; assist with trailer safety checks.
• Administrative Functions: Data entry for shipments; verify seal numbers, trailer numbers, and store numbers; schedule LTL pickups; file outbound paperwork.
