Job summary

Palmer Logistics, now part of H. Essers, is seeking skilled Account Specialists to join our customer service team and help build strong customer relationships.

This role interfaces with customers and warehouse operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and inquiries are resolved professionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
• Must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to operate multiple warehouse management systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
• Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.
