Palmer Logistics, now part of H. Essers, is seeking an Account Specialist to be the primary interface with customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and requirements met.

You will collaborate with warehouse staff, manage invoicing and rate verification under contract terms, address complaints promptly, and maintain professional relationships by phone and email. A detail-oriented candidate with 2+ years in logistics customer service and proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform basic math.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders per requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoicing and verify rates per contract terms.
• Address customer complaints promptly and escalate when needed.
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
• Maintain customer relationships via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.

Position Summary

The Account Specialist is responsible for being the primary interface with our customers, ensuring procedures are followed, and customer requirements are met in the processing of their orders. Account Specialists will serve as an intermediary between the customer and our warehouse operations while implementing best practices that support the continued growth of Palmer Logistics and H. Essers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, customer-focused individual who is proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
• Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalat
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient matter.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
• Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
• Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
