Werner Enterprises invites you to join a summer internship at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. This 11-week immersion helps translate classroom learning into real-world logistics experience, with paid work, dedicated training, and opportunities to contribute to live customer accounts.

Interns collaborate with freight logistics teams, learn industry practices, and may access housing assistance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Logistics/Transportation, Management, or Marketing.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand account management.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Skill in planning and time management.

Responsabilités

• Manage a customer account as the primary point of contact for inquiries and issues.
• Coordinate transportation of goods, including scheduling loads, pickups, deliveries, and tracking shipments.
• Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to stay competitive.
• Complete a group project with other summer interns as directed by the Director of Implementation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
