It may require work at multiple campus addresses in Arlington Heights. The position is full-time, with hours Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and a requirement to travel to Skokie as needed.

• Good driving record verified per state requirements.

Job Summary

The Logistical Support Representative I play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the hospital by providing support in various logistical and supply chain operations. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory, handling deliveries, and assisting in the distribution of supplies to different hospital departments. The position requires flexibility to cover assignments at 30-40 Salt Creek Lane and 30-60 Salt Creek Lane, both situated in Arlington Heights.

What You Will Do

• Be responsible for performing all functions and duties associated with the pick-up, delivery, and transport of materials including supplies, equipment, employees, etc. between hospitals, offices, and businesses
• Collect, process, and distribute U.S. and internal mail and facsimile transmissions
• Route and/or transport materials
• Perform all duties in related to the receipt and distribution of incoming supplies and parcels and prepare outgoing shipments

What You Will Need

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification: A valid Illinois Class "D" driver's license. Must have held a valid driver's license for three (3) years prior to the date of application
• Experience: Must have a good driving record subject to State driver motor vehicle verification to comply with Hospital insurance requirements. Within three (3) years of date of application or promotion

Physical Demands

Able to meet the physical requirements of this position including lifting/pushing/pulling 20 to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
