Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist in Arlington Heights, IL to maintain stock levels for hospital units and off-site care locations. You will manage PAR locations, coordinate just-in-time replenishment, and support clinicians with timely supply updates.

The role requires accuracy in data entry, effective communication with nursing staff, and adaptability to a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior warehousing/inventory management experience preferred but not required.
  • Hospital setting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, count, and record inventory levels in PAR locations.
  • Deliver medical supplies to departments and ensure timely replenishment and put-away of stock in PAR locations.
  • Pick, pack, stage, and deliver supplies for internal orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply areas and stockrooms, including rotating stock and expiration checks.
  • Create and maintain relationships with department staff and provide frequent updates on stocked supplies.
  • Use Endeavor handheld scanners and ERP system for data entry and expiration logs.

Hourly Pay Range:$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Supply Chain Operations SpecialistLocation: Arlington Heights, ILFull-Time (40 hours per week)Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm, Rotating weekendsRequired Travel: noJob Summary:The Supply Chain Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining established stock levels in supply areas for assigned Hospital units, medical group locations, and off-site points of care. This includes but is not limited to counting current stock levels, picking tickets from inventory locations, organizing and facilitating Just-in-time deliveries to assigned units, and checking supplies for expiration. The Supply Chain Operations Specialist is accountable for the relationship with clinicians, providing real-time updates on product disruptions and changes.The Healthcare industry is the single largest employer in the United States. The Supply Chain Specialist I is a vital part of elevating current service levels, standardizing processes across the system, and ensuring the clinicians we serve have everything they need to deliver high quality patient care.What you will do:Monitor, count, and record inventory levels for all medical supplies in assigned Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) locationsDeliver medical supplies to various departments and ensure timely replenishment/put-away of stock in PAR locationsPick, pack, stage, and deliver supplies for orders that source internallyMaintain cleanliness and organization of supply areas and stockrooms, including rotating stock and performing expiration checksCreate, foster, and maintain relationships with department secretaries, nurses, and charge nurses and provide frequent updates on the supplies stocked in the department. Use department phones/Vocera/pagers to respond to supply requests.Utilizing Endeavor technology, ensure accurate data entry into handhelds, computers, and expiration logs. Check email regularly to stay up to date with departmental and system wide updates.Participate in departmental initiatives such as process improvement, implementations, or regulatory readinessAdhere to all Endeavor policies, infection control protocols, and Joint Commission environment of care and supply management standardsWhat you will need:Education: Highschool Diploma or GEDCertification: Depending on the specific job duties, driver’s license may be required. Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) is admiredExperience: Prior experience in warehousing and/or inventory management in any industry is preferred but not required.
